    HI Michael,
thank you for sending the link — I enjoyed the video very much – great work.
Your sound is now very professional .
Did you use the Black Magic camera?
How did you get the fish eye effect?

    T.B.

    • Michael says:

Thanks, T. Yes, I used the Black Magic Cinema Camera for the opening sequence. I got the fisheye effect by getting very close to the subject with the GoPro.

  2. John says:

What gear were you using for the Milonga footage? Pretty good. Nice interview

    • Michael says:

John, Thanks. I appreciate it. I used several GoPro cameras place around the room at different times during the milonga. They have a wide angle of view which helps. Then I used Final Cut Pro to zoom in and frame the couples much closer.

  3. Irene says:

    Hi Michael,
The dance manhatten space will be no more come August so perhaps with that angle you might want to document it’s last few months. Who knows what will happen after that. Mariannas practica has been running for ages. The atmosphere is unique; friendly and open, which is how a practica should be. Perhaps it’s because of the day light space or the time, I’m not sure. Unfortunately that is not always the case that there is such an inviting group.

Hi Michael, thanks for sending this. Are you in the city for the whole summer? Does this Milonga go year round? What a nice look at a great space, the people, and ‘the whole package’ that is tango..
